Welcome to Chief's Cottage, located at The Inn at Smith Cove. This Cottage is the largest of the all the cottages, with two stories. Enjoy the large glass enclosed porch with views of Lake Winnipesaukee, private beach, and docks. Walk in welcomed by the beautiful hardwood floors, the bright living room, dining area for six, with additional seating at the bar in the full kitchen, First floor offers a full bathroom, both bedrooms can be found on the second floor both with queen beds. For additional sleeping the living room offers a sleeper sofa. Just a short walk down the street you will find The Breeze Restaurant & Tavern has great water views is open for lunch and dinner. Patrick’s Pub & Eatery, a local landmark for great food, fun and entertainment, is an Irish pub just a short mile drive away.
In warmer weather you’ll find the opportunity to relax with a book, to spend time connecting with family and friends, to enjoy the sights from the gazebo irresistible and you may never leave. If you do want to explore the area activities our location between Meredith and Wolfeboro is ideal for convenient access to a variety of lake attractions. Bank of NH Pavilion featuring top live entertainment is only minutes away. Dock your own boat using the boat slip available with prior request or make arrangements with one of the area marinas for a rental during your stay. Gunstock Mountain is less than six miles from the house for skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and Nordic skiing with 227 skiable acres and 28 trails. The owners have a home next door and are there much of the time to answer any questions you may have or provide immediate assistance if any issues should occur.
