Maguire’s Landing (aka Lecount Hollow Beach) is right down the street with the sound of the surf and a peek of the ocean from the street. Within 1/4 mile you will find: miles of unspoiled sandy beach, surfcasting for sea bass right off the beach, some of the best surf on the USA east coast, 23 miles of off-road bike trails (access for the Cape Cod Rail Trail is at Lecount Hollow Beach Rd), hiking trails through the Cape Cod National Forest, tidal inlets for kayaking/canoeing, a bakery, the general store, a surf/bike shop…. Everything you want for your perfect beach vacation. This cottage has been dubbed by former occupants and 'THE most romantic cottage ever!' You enter through a screened-in porch to a studio-style cottage with a living area, having ample built-ins for your storage and a wood burning fireplace for those cooler evenings. WiFi and Cable and Live Streaming TV.
During the season you will find live theater at 2 locations nightly. Saturday night is ''Gallery Night'' with 26 galleries, openings, and artist receptions. There are formal concerts, coffee houses, and bands playing at different venues throughout the week. Wednesday night you will find people from the ages of 2 - 102 square dancing at the harbor. Wellfleet's summer schedule can fill up the week; chose what you like and leave enough time to relax at any of the 13 public beach areas on the Atlantic Ocean, or Cape Cod Bay.
Off-season you will find a quieter pace, but you can still find great restaurants, cinemas, the Audubon Bird Sanctuary, art galleries, live theater, live music, and the natural beauty of the area which is always here to refresh you.

Guest Reviews: Very clean cottage, so close to the beach that we slept to the sound of the surf. Owners have 4 rental homes on the Outer Cape and so they were helpful with local recommendations. If you have more than 2 persons for your next vacation, contact the owners for another home. My favorite part was being so close to the beach and IN the Cape Cod National Seashore - what an amazing national treasure of open undeveloped forest and beach!
