Summary: Our stay at the Oyster Cottage was idyllic. Clean with all the basic amenities you need for a peaceful yet fun and wholesome weekend stay. We stayed here with four adults and one toddler (2yo) and it was the perfect size. Spent evenings grilling, eating and playing games on the screened porch, watching gorgeous sunrises each morning and moonrises each night over Oyster Bay. The quietness and immersion in nature is breathtaking. I think our dog enjoyed the weekend the most because of the wide open space for her to run and explore. It's only 10 minutes to the grocery and restaurants and 15 minutes to adorable Cape Charles - the perfect place to stay if you want to escape the tourist hustle and bustle but still get taste of the lively town and fun. There's a beautiful trail, Horse Island Trail, less than a half-mile from the house that takes you out onto the point with scenic views of Oyster Bay. Everything about this property is pure Eastern Shore - 10/10 recommend!
