A unique retreat located in the Seven Mountains region near State College, PA. Enjoy the quiet mountains and disconnect. The cottage features a large master bedroom with king bed and a balcony. There is a small bathroom with shower attached to the master bedroom. The first floor has a small kitchen. On the ground floor we have a new living room, an additional bedroom and a full bath. The property is located near Bald Eagle State Forest, which provides opportunities for hunting, hiking, Dual Sport riding (prime ground for adventure riding) and some of the best mountain biking trails you could ask for. Rothrock Forest and Coopers Gap are also located nearby for more outdoor enjoyment. Located near famed fishing spots such as Penn's Creek and Kish Creek. Only 25 minutes to downtown State College, making this a quiet place to stay for any University events. There are also several local wineries, pubs and cideries to visit. Summary: The charming cottage was the perfect location from which to explore Bald Eagle State Park, State College and the entire area. The cottage also has a gas grill right on the front porch and a lot of room to spread out. My husband and daughter rode their dirt bikes during the day, while I visited the Seven Mountains Wine Cellars and nearby towns. Our hosts, Will and Dana, were extremely responsive which made for a stress free stay.
