3 Bedroom Cottage in Markesan

Part of the Special Properties portfolio, this sweet 3 bedroom home offers a lakeside cottage feel with thoughtfully designed interior by Evanston, IL based Four Sided Design (with additional design work underway). The home offers the best combination of beauty and comfort on the south shore with 75 feet of amazingly clear water for swimming off the solid 6x6 post construction pier---water depth 7ft. With three adult bedrooms (one king bed, two queens) and two sets of bunk beds (four beds) in the walk-out lower level, this comfortably sleeps 8-10. Each bedroom has its own beautiful design and the house was built for fun with a portfolio of indoor board games, foosball as well as outdoor games to keep the entire family engaged while taking a break from the lake. Lakeside, the home features a boathouse with lounge area perfect for enjoying lunch, cocktails and conversation. There are kayaks and a stand up paddle board for renter usage as well. Home rents Friday to Friday unless rental is greater than 10 days. Other important notes:

Tuleta Hills area is known for its undulating terrain. There is a steep driveway from garage to the lower level where the house is located. The lower level can accommodate 2-3 cars. Additional parking at the upper level garage/driveway and roadside. There are a narrow set of stairs leading from the upper level to the house. (see pictures)

Boat lift is MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE WITH THIS PROPERTY. Boats and boat rentals will need to be trailered or returned to marina daily.

Summary: Our first time in Green Lake and we had the best time! The home was perfect for our family to unwind- our kids (2 and 4) won’t stop talking about how fun it was. Loved our time on the lake and will be back!
