Summary: The cottage was the right size for my wife, 2 dogs, and me. The biggest advantage is the owner does allow pets. We felt the property was a bit cluttered, overfull with furniture in all of the main sitting areas, some in disrepair and the rest quite worn, with accompanying knick knacks everywhere. One of the bathroom ceiling vents was not working while we were there. The outdoor area and space was adequate but most of the aged plastic chairs were cracked or broken and the decorative "shelf" built surrounding the large tree on the patio was also broken. Gas grills are available but we did not use them because they were completely rusted inside the hood, from the cooking grate to the heat shields. The charcoal grill was also rusted but in better condition, so with some "elbow grease" we were able to clean and use it for an evening meal. Back yard is a decent size and completely fenced in; also great for pets. There was a large tree branch down from a storm prior to our arrival that blocked the gate so we did not try going in and out through the gate. The issues we discovered were reported to the owner and she responded to confirm some issues were known and others were not. After we checked out, she also reached out to say those things were addressed. Overall, the property was adequate and the location was good for our needs.
