3 Bedroom Cottage in Fort Gaines, Georgetown

Take in the beauty of Lake Eufaula as you sit on the covered porch of this 3-bedroom 1.5 bath cottage. It has the most gorgeous views of the lake and spectacular sunsets. 150 ft of lake frontage with unobstructed views & private lighted dock with boat lift. House sleeps 6 adults. It’s located on the main part of the lake, on the Georgia side. Pataula Creek Public boat ramp is just 3.5 miles south of the cottage.
The cottage sits on a double lot in a quiet residential neighborhood. The road coming in is a dirt road for a 1/2 mile then gravel 1/2 mile. The owners have a 2nd family home just down the road. Small gatherings are welcome, but no large parties. Our neighbors are our friends and family, and we ask that everyone be respectful and responsible.
We do allow well-trained, house-broken pets only. No puppies.
The home has a gentle slope to the wooden steps that take you down to the fishing dock. The dock is covered, lighted and has an electricboat lift. 4 Adirondack chairs are attached to the dock. Huge front & back yard. Extra parking for RVs, boats, jet skis, etc.
Fire pit overlooks the lake with the best views of the sunsets.
We have 3 kayaks available for your use. Exterior security cameras on site facing driveway, door and kayak storage area.

Summary: The location is beautiful and the house is very cute. Nice and quiet area with a good amount of room for kids to run around outside. The owner was very communicative and check-in was seamless. The cleanliness of the house was ok but needed improvement. There were obvious signs of a pet having been at the house (pet hair on pillows, furniture, and floor), and a pet odor when we first arrived when the a/c was lower. So if anyone in your party is allergic, this may not be the best accommodation for you. There was another issue related to cleanliness when we first arrived but the owner was quick to respond and it was outside of their control, so we were understanding of that piece.
