Fun for the whole family! Enjoy the beautiful sandy beach, take a peaceful walk, outlet shopping in No Conway NH, rent a canoe for a day trip down the Saco River, or see a show at Stone Mountain Performing Arts Center. Located just 5 minutes from hiking trails on Pleasant Mountain. There is so much to do here.
The quaint towns of Bridgton and Fryeburg are very close by. You can find groceries, shops, restaurants, movies, and fun there. Stay early October for the famous Fryeburg Fair. Classic Maine at its best
The view is amazing here! You can gaze at beautiful Pleasant Mountain in the evening while enjoying a fire in our beachside fire pit.
We have 2 single kayaks, 1 tandem kayak, and 1 children’s kayak on site for you to use. It’s so relaxing to take a paddle around the pond! The water is crystal clear. We love to sit at the table and watch down over the water. Early in the season you can actually watch the loons fishing under water.
Motor boats are not permitted here which makes this the best place to float in the water on a hot summer day. Our beach is sandy and slopes gently allowing for great swimming and children playing in the sand.

Disclaimer: there are cameras installed outside the property only. They are only occasionally viewed for security purposes such as checking how many cars are in the parking area. We added them after our second rental had a large party without our knowledge or consent. My husband and I use the cameras only to ensure that we are being good neighbors in our little community. We will in no way intentionally invade your privacy.
I’d like to mention just a few quirks that go along with the somewhat rustic nature of our place that you should Know before booking.
We have hot water but it’s a 15 gallon electric hot water heater. This is enough for a 10 min shower. I, myself, have plenty of water to wash, condition, and shave. I do prefer a very warm shower. Not extremely hot. It will take 30+ minutes to reheat the cold water once emptied. So if a long, super hot shower is a must for you, this camp is not the best choice.
Next, we use the well water for everything but drinking and cooking. Not because unsafe, but It contains heavy minerals and does have an odor that I don’t love. Because of this odor we do have a water dispenser in the kitchen and provide plenty of 4 gallon bottles of water for your use. We will leave extra bottles in the kitchen.
Please look at the posted pics carefully and notice the hill from the parking area to the camp. It’s not steep and there is a hand rail and solar lights to illuminate the path. After dark, motion sensored flood lights will illuminate when you start down the path.
My husband and I want every one of our guests to have a wonderful stay on Long Pond. If you are like us, these minor inconveniences are easily overlooked and you will enjoy the beauty of this camp, the view of Pleasant Mountain, and the Denmark area.
