We live in the main house on the property. We have children and a, sometimes overly-friendly, dog. The gate dividing the house and cottage will keep him out of your space. We tend to spend time outdoors in our yard and in the alley with our neighbors during the summer months. Our paths may cross as we access the alley but aside from that the place is all yours and you will have as much privacy as you like.
The cottage is quiet and peaceful but not without urban character. You might hear yard work, neighbors, pets, and airplanes.
