All one floor with only 3 steps to enter is convenient for seniors. Quiet neighborhood is excellent for walking.with more rigorous hiking nearby. Nearby wineries, small town shopping, antiquing, Mabry Mill, cherry, peach & apple orchards, & 20 minutes from Mt Airy aka Mayberry RFD or Hillsville VA. Or grab a book & curl up on the sofa in front of the gas log fireplace with a cuppa tea or coffee from the coffee bar. Low speed internet since high speed broadband has not made it yet to this peaceful ridge yet. Great place to relax with friends & family after fun day trips

Summary: We enjoyed our few days on the parkway as a getaway. Enjoyed seeing all the deer, bears and turkey. Also visiting MY Airy and Meadows of Dan market.
