Make yourself at home in this delightful 3-bedroom beachfront retreat. This charming cottage features 2 bedrooms with queen beds and 1 bedroom with twin beds, perfect for a cozy getaway. With amenities like AC, WiFi, and a dishwasher, guests can relax and unwind. This is a seasonal Maine cottage located on a private beach that is perfect for a small family or two couples. We provide bedding, towels, bathroom supplies and basic kitchen amenities. The bathroom has a large shower stall and there is also an outdoor hot water shower. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, and has a coffee maker, toaster, microwave and blender. There is access to a washer / dryer on the property. The family room has plenty of comfortable seating, a stunning view, and a great selection of books, games and puzzles. There is a large outdoor deck with table and chairs and steps down to the lawn. There is a weber charcoal grill and guests have use of 3 kayaks. The beach is private and quiet, and the water is typically calm with small waves. At low tide there is plenty of room for bocce and beach games, or exploring the tidal pools and rocks. Please note there are about 10 steps to enter the house. (the pictures do not reflect the new height of the house, it is about 4 feet higher now) The view and location are breathtaking and it's the perfect spot for a relaxing beach vacation. There are 7 cottages along the beach and all have been in the same family for 4 generations! Most of the cottages are family use only, so this is not a place for parties or large groups. It a great place for families or a few couples to enjoy the beach and location.
There are plenty of walking routes from the cottage, including the Timber Point and Timber Island Conservation area. Cape Porpoise is only 10 minutes down the road and Kennebunkport is 15 minutes. There are also fun restaurants in Biddeford too, less than 15 minutes away.
