In Winter - rent a room or bed!! Sleeps 26. Summers/peak season stays are 7 night min Saturday to Saturday. Nestled at the point of 23 private acres of land, on this near 3 acre property you'll have private room to run, relax and play. The 1949 rehabbed cottage on Meta Lake, between Three Lakes and Eagle River, has the modern comforts while keeping the vintage day charm.
The amenities are numerous, but here are our favorites:
-3 acres of woods and lawn on which to play, picnic, walk and meditate
-5 bedrooms with comfortable mattresses and a lake view from each. 8 full, 2 twin, 1 queen, and 1 king beds, plus 2 sleeper sofas.
-3 charming, fully remodeled and updated bathrooms
-Recreational supplies that include 3 canoes, 5 kayaks, 2 row boats, 1 motorized key start boat to rent, a large swim platform, sand beach (and sandy bottom lake), some swim noodles, life jackets and 2 fire pits.
For winter, 3 snowmobiles to rent and snow shoes to use.
-3 piers on the west, north and east side of the point
-Wood-burning fireplace inside
-Gas grill and grilling supplies, charcoal grill and picnic table, plus 2 patio tables.
-Beautiful, fully stocked kitchen with a dishwasher and convection oven.
-Indoor recreation includes a large TV and movies (no cable TV), WiFi, games, art supplies, cards and poker chips.
A pack and play and high chair are available for babies — just let us know in advance.
-We welcome dogs with an additional charge.
Sheets and towels at an additional Some hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, a roll of paper towels and enough toilet paper to get you started.
Sheets, towels and linen use is not offered. Blankets and comforters are provided
The owner has purposely kept it comfortable and not too fancy. Very, very charming!
