For your enjoyment the home has 3 big screen TVs, a pool table, 2 kayaks, a pedal boat and a fire pit. Amazing lake views from kitchen, family room and master bedroom . Bird feeders attract various species of birds. Fish right off the private dock and park your boat and other water toys on the water or in the spacious driveway. Enjoy the evening on the covered porch with a glass of wine, roasting marshmallows on the fire pit, or gazing at the stars on the hammock. Enjoy the many wineries nearby including Napa Valley only an hours drive away.
The property is located in the "Keys." It's an intricate maze of channels with homes on both sides. It's great for swimming off the dock, using the paddle boat and kayaks as boats can only go as fast as 5 miles per hour in the Keys. During the summer months, June/July/August it can reach 100 degrees in Clearlake. Often when it gets really hot, algae can bloom, it can change the color of the lake water and have a film on top. Swimming in the water when algae is present is not recommended. If you have a boat, you can take it to the open lake where algae is normally not present. You can swim in those deeper waters with no problem.
Also, certain times of the year, generally in the summer, "rice flies" can appear in the evening. They are harmless and support the eco system of the lake, but they are a nuisance if they get inside the house. They generally will gravitate towards light and the ceiling. They live 24 hours and die overnight. We do not have any control over these natural occurrences at the lake.
