Braem sold the property to the Winthrop family, descendants of John Winthrop, the founding governor of Massachusetts, from which the property took its current name. The manor is now freshly renovated with modern touches thoughtful of its origins and includes diverse amenities. The 32 landscaped acres have expansive views of Lenox Mountain.
