This colorful, easy-living camp has two bedrooms and a free-flowing, open layout. Breakfast bar, dining area, and fantastic lounging space with wide-open water views. Cathedral ceilings, big kitchen, modern tiled bath. Front porch, back deck, five steps and you're on the dock! Hammock, picnic table, gas grill, fire pit, wild blueberries. Sandy bottomed pond makes for great swimming. Canoe and kayaks carry you onto the 61-acre pond, where bullfrogs, turtles and curious loons are more common than motor boats.
The immediate area offers a small public beach, and a walking trail around the pond. Close by are additional hiking trails, and the antique shops, restaurants and supermarket of Cornish, which is an antique village in its own right.
A short drive northeast is the summer playground of Sebago Lake. An hour or so northwest brings you to the White Mountains, with endless hiking trails to suit any taste. Over the New Hampshire border is the resort and outlet town of North Conway.
Portland, with its famous restaurants and watering holes, is about 45 minutes away.
