Summary: We enjoyed the property. The house was a bit too big for just me and my wife but it is a large dog-friendly, lakehouse rental, which was the most important aspect. The house was clean though I think they should consider tossing the dining room carpet since it had clearly been urinated on by a past guest or their dog. The kitchen has everything one needs to cook a good meal and all the appliances worked fine. The shower in the master bathroom is wonderful. The pool table and shuffleboard tables were enjoyable though I'd suggest renters bring their own bridge since the table didn't come with one. The pool and hot tub were both clean and easy to access and gated. We really liked that the yard has an enclosed area for dogs, which our dogs loved because the grass was so soft. The back decks all provided such a nice view. We enjoyed our meals out there because the weather was perfect. The backyard is massive and very sloped, which is normal for this Lake. The fishing dock was good. There was a boat docked at the dock which was a little irritating and management couldn't resolve this. The downstairs living area can be accessed privately which was fine for us since we didn't need it. Check-in/Check-out was very smooth. Because this is a dog-friendly rental we probably will rent it again next year. Thanks Vrbo and Jackson Mountain Rentals.
