Summary: Our group of three families (6 adults, 7 kids ages 3-15) had a great time staying here for a late-summer getaway. We had plenty of room for our group by renting all three buildings - though it might have been tricky if we'd all had younger kids who wanted to have their parents right nearby, since two of the rooms with larger beds are in the stand-alone cottages.We LOVED the pool and the lovely riverfront location, though we didn't really get into the river itself; there wasn't a beach, per se, and the current was very strong, so we played it safe. We had some challenges with a few of the appliances (mainly dishwasher and clothes dryer), but none of them were too troubling, and we shared all of the info with the property managers on checkout so they could address for subsequent guests. We used the house as a base location for outings to the Shasta Caverns, Lassen National Park, Turtle Bay Exploration Park, and the nearby Anderson River Park. All were great to visit!
