Summary: Staff was very supportive and friendly as well as responsive to our requests for additional needed items (extra toilet paper, Kleenex, extra towels, a replacement ironing board). This place, and the surrounding area, is very nice. Bonus points for being conveniently located within walking distance of the Ballston/MU Metro station, upscale restaurants and a nearby grocery store. Fitness room is in need of a refresh; various pieces of workout equipment were functional but in need maintenance or repair. Word of caution: Your only parking option as a guest is to pay $30/night for the parking deck under the hotel. Surface parking in this area is highly restricted/routinely enforced with aggressive vehicle towing. Don’t make the mistake of parking on the nearby streets, as your vehicle will be towed (ours was, which required a $190 fee to the towing contractor).
