Located at the heart of Ahwatukee, in the foothills of South Mountain, this single-story home is a retreat for business travelers, adventurers, couples, snowbirds & families. Just 20 min from Phoenix Sky Harbor Int'l Airport and close by to the best Phoenix has to offer. This neighborhood is quiet & safe. Around it you will find a wide variety of restaurants, grocery stores, shopping & golf courses. Some of the South Mountain hiking & biking trails are walking distance from the house.
This house has a resort-like backyard setting, private pool (not heated) with waterfall, jacuzzi, BBQ area, outdoor dining, fire pit, partial mountain views & beautiful sunsets view. It is a 3 br 2 ba house with 2 car garage that sleeps 6 adults comfortably w/ extra sofa sleeper in the living room and a Queen-size air-mattress that can be set up in the study area for additional sleeping arrangement. Bedroom#1: King-size bed w/ walk-in closet & access to the pool & backyard. Bedroom#2: Queen-size bed. Bedroom#3: Two twin-size beds that can be connected together. Home has been remodeled from 2015 thru 2019. It is well equipped for long stays and has newer (late 2019) furniture, beds, mattresses. Vaulted ceilings & abundance of natural light makes this home cozy and inviting. It has Smart garage opener hub for parking convenience, NEST thermostat control, front door Ring (facing out towards walkway) for additional security, and Smart Lock for guest's easy check-in/out. All rooms have ceiling fans. We have put a lot a of thought preparing this home to welcome you. You will find it a retreat and your home away from home.
Guests will also have access to the nearby community heated pool, tennis courts, Jacuzzi, kids play area & picnic area.

Summary: The place is Awesome. It is in a great location close to stores, restaurants, coffee shops. Just a short walk to several paths and hiking. The neighborhood is quiet and we felt safe. The house is open and light, nicely decorated, has a wonderful outdoor space with pool/jacuzzi. It is stocked with everything you would need for your stay. The kitchen is has a large variety of equipment., everything you might need. Working during the day was easy, great wi-fi and there is a dedicated desk with a monitor if you need. The swimming pool with the waterfall in the backyard is beautiful. We enjoyed using it. We used the jacuzzi after a hike, and it was hot and good for the bones. The patio is setup is very nice. Easy to relax and watch the sunset and gaze at the mountain views. The living area and dining area are nicely decorated. All the beds were very comfortable, and all the linens were stocked. Ron is an excellent host, he wanted to make sure our stay was everything we wanted and more. If you are thinking about booking this place, don't hesitate - you should absolutely do it!
