Summary: We had a great time! We will be back. We already booked the same week for next year. Leavitt Bay is just what we were looking for - small and reasonably quiet. The water was beautiful and the sandy bottom is great. However, the bay is shallow with only about 4ft of water out at the swim float. There are plenty of chairs provided for the fire pit that we also used on the beach. We brought our own kayaks, so we didn't use the boats provided. The house is rustic but the bathrooms seem updated. The house had a musty "camp" smell at first. But, once we aired out the house, it seemed fine. We had plenty of hot water for 6 showers in a row at the end of each day. There is however, only one (indoor) shower. There is an outdoor shower with hot water that we also used. There is a dyer, but no washing machine. With careful planning, it was not an issue. The wi-fi worked great. There is no TV on the property, but we bought a small smart TV which worked fine. There is one mini-split AC on the first floor and one in the upstairs bedroom. Both worked great to keep the house cool on hot days/nights.
