Summary: Some staff were amazing but the associate manager lied to me numerous times and it wasn’t just an inconvenience. I was looking for a new apartment, and then once I found one, had to wait until end of September to move in. I asked Martin numerous times if I could stay past the 30 days and he told me three times yes we have other people here, and I said are they under some provision, and he said no. He said you can stay, referenced the other people and so I planned for that. Thank gosh, I followed up on this a few days before because a kind person at the front desk said state law says no but come back after 24 hours. I saw in writing that Martin had changed his tune and said yes she has to leave for 24 hours. Meaning I have to take everything with me and then come back. This is not at all what he told me many times. I’m recovering from long Covid, it hurts to move and my cat happens to be sick at the moment. Finding out last minute that I had to pack up all of my things and not knowing where I would go was more than just an inconvenience. I don’t mind leaving. I do mind being lied to you over and over again because I would’ve been out on the street if I hadn’t been the one to follow up on this. This is not just irresponsible, but it is mean.
