Summary: The room was clean but there were hairs in the shower. The staff was accommodating. The complimentary breakfast is convenient and was good... the menu changed daily.The bed was very comfortable. The door to the room was extremely heavy, difficult to open and quickly slammed close but didn't fully close. An item in my room was missing. Someone took food left on the desk in my aunt's room next door.. The hotel is ideally located 5 minutes away from the airport and across the street from restaurants, Whole Foods and down the street from.a mall. One disappointment was that there was no shuttle available; I received a text telling me to call when I arrived and I would be told the pick up area. When I called, the woman on the phone said we don't have a shuttle. I told her that the website and other references say they do provide it. Then she clarified saying it was in the repair shop. I asked what could I do to get there since I had never been in Long Beach and she quipped " get an Uber" and hung up. The airport attendant overheard and suggested I catch a taxi, which I did. The taxi driver suggested that we ask for a voucher sense there was no notification and the manager said she would make the exception.
