3 Bedroom Cottage in Wautoma
After renting this cottage for three years, we jumped at the opportunity to buy it in 2018. Our property has 150 feet of zero-entry, firm sand frontage - which is important to us with two children in elementary school. On many days after fishing and tubing we have pulled our chairs into the lake, opened a beverage and watched the kids playing in the warm, shallow water.
There are two nice golf courses within ten minute of the cottage, and within 30 minutes are three other courses that make the ‘best courses in Wisconsin’ lists. After a long day on the lake or course, you and your family can enjoy a beautiful bonfire just steps from the water - we’ll even supply all the firewood you’ll need for your stay!
The cottage is fully equipped with everything you’ll need for a relaxing vacation. The kitchen has all the amenities of home - coffeemaker, microwave, stove and oven; a full supply of pots, pans, & silverware you’ll need to make a great meal, which you can enjoy with an incredible view of the lake from the dining room or off the deck with its large picnic table.
There are three bedrooms. The spacious master bedroom has a king size bed and great view of the lake from its picture windows. It shares a hallway with the bathroom and the ‘kids bedroom’, the largest bedroom with two twin beds and a queen size bed, also with windows facing the lake. The ‘guest bedroom’ has a queen bed on the other end of the house.
The cottage has one large full bathroom with a bathtub/shower and one half-bathroom with toilet and sink.
We have a large, private lot with plenty of room for games like bocce, bean bags and ladder golf. We also have a pedal boat and multiple adult/youth kayaks available for your use.
Wautoma is a short drive from the lake, with two grocery stores, a hardware store, restaurants and plenty of shopping less than 10 minutes away.
When you vacation at our cottage, you’ll feel as though you’ve found a secluded lake ‘Up North’ without the drive and with the amenities of town nearby!
