Summary: I think a lot of details were missed by not living there for a week first. Lack of any overhead lightning in the livingroom and dining rooms made their use at night difficult and reading impossible. We were delighted to be welcomed with a bottle of wine only to find there was no opener. The kitchen had a good selection of pots and pans but no colander, tea kettle or cooking knives, just one bread knife. I was happy to find sugar and 2sugar substitutes but no salt! There was no dish soap to clean pans and it was lucky I brought Pam to protect them. There was a very nice selection of shampoos and conditioners in the shower but no handsoap in the bathroom. Kleenex would have been nice. I saw that our host was looking for a 5 star rating... there's a ways to go.
