Nestled among the quiet woodlands of Boothbay Harbor, this tranquil cottage is a true escape in one of Midcoast Maine's most beautiful settings. Wander just half a mile along forested roads and you'll come to a private association beach, where you can dip your toes in the cool waters of Linekin Bay.
This two-story cottage is part of Sprucewold, a subdivision with its own beach on the peninsula just east of downtown Boothbay Harbor. The property backs up to the Spruce Point Inn, allowing you to stroll to the wonderful restaurant, spa, waterfront, and network of trails that the inn is known for. The heart of Boothbay Harbor (two miles), the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens (five miles), and the Maine State Aquarium (five miles) are all close by as well.
The cottage is both modern and classic, where contemporary furnishings feel perfectly placed amidst exposed beams and views of the surrounding forest. Walk home from the beach each afternoon to stream your favorite movies, get started on dinner in the sleek kitchen, and light the gas grill outside for a summer dinner at the picnic table. Sleep soundly in the upstairs loft as the day's clothes spin in the washer/dryer. High-speed WiFi is provided for your convenience as well.
