Positive: We had a lovely stay over Memorial Day weekend. The house is very comfortable and welcoming, with everything we needed for a relaxing time. The hosts were extremely kind, helpful, and even generous — they really went out of their way to make sure we had a good stay. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side that week, so we didn’t get to enjoy the beautiful dock by the lake as much as we had hoped. It’s a wonderful spot when the sun’s out, though. Short drive from Jim Thorpe.

Negative: A note for future guests: access to the dock could be a bit challenging if you’re not in good physical shape, as it involves some uneven terrain. The backyard is spacious and pleasant, though it’s quite open and doesn’t offer much privacy. Still, it’s a great place to sit out and enjoy the fresh air when the weather cooperates.
