Summary: I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to wander up to the lobby and assist me. I tried calling the listed number, but I couldn't hear any incoming phone ringing in the building. After getting to the room, we found pubic hairs all over the bathtub. The floors were not clean enough to walk barefoot on, and my initial request for extra pillows upon booking was not accommodated. Within the first hour, our toilet was clogged. We tried calling the front desk again, but had to walk to the lobby to ask for a plunger or some help. We were told that the maintenance person might be able to help, but didn't say when. We asked when it would be addressed and were told it might be in a few hours, when he arrived. We asked if we could get a plunger and handle it ourselves, and eventually, housekeeping brought us one wrapped in a plastic shopping bag. The following morning, we attempted to contact the front desk again, but there was never any answer. We had to drive to the lobby to speak with someone, but we ran into a similar issue to the night before: there was nobody at the front desk. We tried calling again, but no one answered. When someone finally appeared, we mentioned the issue with trying to call since last night with no answer. The person at the front desk was adamant that there was no issue with the phone. We made a few simple requests, specifically asking that housekeeping leave our beds as-is and bring pillows. Our beds were made, but the floors or pubic hairs weren't cleaned up.
